Privacy Policy

• Account info — email, display name, and how you signed in.
• Profile info — anything you choose to add (bio, avatar, favorite media types).
• Content — clubs you create or join, items you nominate or rate, progress, and posts.
• Basic technical data — IP address, browser, device — used for security and reliability.

• We don't sell your personal information.
• We don't share it with advertisers or use it to train ad models.
• We don't use advertising trackers, cross-site tracking, or tracking cookies.

To run the Service: create your account, render content inside your clubs (including spoiler-safe rendering based on your progress), send transactional emails you'd expect (verification, invites, etc.), prevent abuse, and keep things working.

We share information only with the service providers we rely on to run HaveYouClub. Each is bound by contracts that limit how they can use your data:

• Vercel and Heroku — application and API hosting.
• Supabase — database hosting.
• Auth0 — authentication and sign-in.
• Resend — transactional email delivery (verification, invites).
• Cloudflare Turnstile — bot protection.
• Vercel Analytics — privacy-friendly, cookieless usage analytics.

We may also disclose information when required by law. Clubs are private by default: other members of a club can see what you post in that club; nothing is public unless you make it so.

We use a small set of essential cookies to keep you signed in and to protect against abuse. For product analytics we use Vercel Analytics, which is privacy-friendly and cookieless — it measures aggregate usage (such as page views) without tracking you across other sites or building an advertising profile. We don't run advertising or cross-site tracking.

• Access & correction — view and edit your data in the app at any time.
• Export — email us for a copy of your data.
• Deletion — delete your account from account settings. We'll remove your personal identifiers and anonymize content you posted in shared clubs so the surrounding conversation still makes sense.

HaveYouClub is for people 13 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we'll delete it.

If we make material changes to how we handle data, we'll notify current users in-product before the change takes effect.
